This is description

After three weeks with us, lovely Mopsie the Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen has headed home—and what a journey it’s been.

When she arrived, Mopsie found it tricky to stay focused, especially around other dogs and in busier environments. Fast forward to now, and we’re seeing a much more engaged, thoughtful little dog who is starting to make some really nice choices. She’s built a solid foundation in her core skills, is offering more consistent check-ins on walks, and is beginning to understand how to settle and switch off when needed.

Her loose lead walking is coming along nicely, and while she still finds other dogs exciting, she’s learning how to disengage and come back to her handler—a huge step in the right direction. We’ve also spent plenty of time building her confidence through fun, interactive training using the environment, which she absolutely loved.

Mopsie is still very much on her journey, but she’s heading home with the tools—and the understanding—to keep progressing. With a bit of consistency and continued practice, she’s well on her way to becoming that calm, confident, and adventurous companion her owner hopes for.
