–►The Irish Terrier is one of the oldest terrier breeds, probably bred around 2,000 years ago. Dogs were used as hunters for small quadrupeds, rat-catchers and messengers. Nowadays, they are becoming more and more companions. Courageous, stubborn, often quick-tempered and capricious, they, nevertheless, get along well with the household, treat children tenderly. Dangerous for pets.
