私の名前はサンデーです。昨夜、とっても怖い目に会いました。
あるお家の玄関ドアと網戸の間に挟まって、出られなくなったのです。
私のママはずっと前にいなくなってしまいました。私は、お腹が
ぺこぺこで、喉が渇いていて、お目目はくっついて開きませんでした。
私はとっても寂しくて、怖くて、きっとずっとこのままなんだと
思いました。
でも、優しい女の人が私の鳴き声を聞いて、助けてくれました。
その人は、大急ぎで子猫用のミルクを作って飲ませてくれました。
そして、私のお目目をキレイにしてくれました。その後で、長い時間
車を運転して、預かりママさんのお家まで連れて来てくれました。
私は、このお家が好きになって来ました。暖かくて気持ちいい毛布と、
美味しいミルクと、おもちゃがあります。そして、私が怖くなって
目を覚ますと、抱っこして優しく話しかけてくれる人がいるからです…。

ようこそ、ちっちゃなサンデー。あなたは愛されています。
もう、寂しい思いも、怖い思いもしなくていいんだよ。

Hi, my name is Sundae and I had nightmares last night….. you see I was found yesterday by a lovely lady that heard my cries – I was stuck in-between a door and the flyscreen door and couldn’t get out, my mama cat was long gone and I was starving hungry, dehydrated and had a crusted up eye, and I was so sad and scared that I’d be stuck there forever… . . But hooray for awesome people that follow their hearts and hear the cries of the unwanted, this lovely lady found me, improvised in making up some kitten milk for me, cleaned up my eye and then drove a long way to bring me to my foster home. I’m kinda liking it here, the blankets are warm and snuggly, there’s yummy warm milk and toys, and a human who talks softly to me and gives me cuddles when I wake up scared during the night…. . . . . .
